I post book reviews as often as possible but at least once a week every Wednesday! I hope they help you to find some new books that you'll love as much as I did!
Sequel to the bestselling 'Bongo Fury' novella. Follow Jimmy as he gets into much deeper trouble in this black humoured, Northern Irish noir.
This book is the second in the Bongo Fury series by Simon Maltman and as was the case with book one, there's an amazing amount of story packed into just 57 pages!
I think it definitely helps to read the first in the series, as for me Jimmy felt a lot more real in this book than he did in the first, but it was the combination of the two which helped me to get to know him and learn more about him as a character.
I found myself rooting for Jimmy throughout the book and I was quickly swept up in the fast-paced and gritty storyline.
I liked how tense the ending was. I would've loved it to have been a little bit more detailed, but it does make sense if it's going to lead on to the next book in the series.
Overall, I enjoyed it. It's down to earth, short but sweet and completely action packed.
This e-book was provided for free in exchange for an honest review.
