Welcome!
I post book reviews as often as possible but at least once a week every Wednesday! I hope they help you to find some new books that you'll love as much as I did!
Firstly I've just got to say, I absolutely loved this book! As soon as I started reading it, I had to keep reminding myself that it was written by Graham Norton. THE Graham Norton. I didn't expect it to be so good!
I began reading Holding on the train to London and I didn't look up once. I was drawn in right from the beginning and didn't want to put it down. It was so disappointing when I had to get off the train! I loved the way it was quick to get right into the crime and didn't drag on with a lot of extraneous scene setting. Instead, it jumped straight into the characters and the crime and set the scene throughout the book avoiding the block of description at the beginning, which most books include. I found the characters to be suitably gripping and each had their own story which intertwined with the others. Each character was developed really well and their personalities came through. The ending was fantastic and completely unexpected and there were twists and turns throughout the book. For the first time on my blog, I'm giving this book 5 out of 5 and it's officially going to be the first in my 'five star favourites' category. I loved it so much that I'm going to buy myself a hard-copy of the book. I would absolutely recommend giving this a read, it's out tomorrow on the 6th of October. I hope you'll love it as much as I did. This e-book was provided to me free in exchange for an honest review.
